Things To Do
There is a tour offered of Cape Canaveral that takes about 2 1/2 hours and will take you by all of the best attractions of the Kennedy Space Center. It will take you by the largest building in the world, the Vehicle Assembly Building, one of the humongous towing vehicles that tows the rockets and shuttles to the launch pad, and past two launch pads themselves. You will also want to go to the Visitor's Center and see the attractions that NASA has there. They include the "Shuttle Launch Experience," a rocket garden, two giant IMAX theaters, and a huge gift store. These all make for a great time for kids and adults alike. It will be like nothing else you've ever seen.
Be sure to go if you get the chance, especially if you are able to make it for one of the launches. Your children will remember it for the rest of their lives and it will be an experience that they will want to share with their children.
